Dr. Sabia Akbar, OB/GYN
Absolutely amazing doctor! I can’t even believe anyone could have anything bad to say about Dr. Akbar I would recommend her to anyone I know for regular checkups and ESPECIALLY pregnant women. I am a VERY anxious person and when I found out I was pregnant I was nervous over every little thing, Dr. Akbar couldn’t have been more professional and comforting for me during all of this! Every time I felt I was being annoying or bothersome she would answer whatever it was I needed and reassure me I was ok. Up until the day I gave birth Dr. Akbar was so informative and patient, she even called my cell phone while I was in the hospital waiting for her to perform my C section to update me on everything going on (the hospital was going to tell me and she wanted to make sure I was calm and heard from her personally) Amazing doctor and amazing bedside manner to go with it highly recommend anyone sees her!!!!

Dr. Alex Barkan, Bariatric Surgery
Can’t say enough how much I trust and love Dr. Barkan. He has performed surgery on me twice, and both times were complication free with a speedy recovery. His work is excellent and he has wonderful bedside manner. He listens to your concerns and is very easy to talk to. I highly recommend him.
I cannot find enough words of praise for the care & treatment by Dr Barkan and his wonderful staff. I had bariatric surgery in October 2011. The pre-operative preparation during the six months required by my insurance was very thorough and supportive.
They supported me throughout the post-op period as I progressed from a liquid diet to “normal” food. There was always someone available to answer questions & address concerns. I attribute my success in losing weight & maintaining that weight loss for 9 years to the wonderful care I received by Dr. Barkan and his staff!

Dr. Beylinson is a wonderful physician. He is very thorough and takes as much time with you as you need. He listens to you and is so helpful with his knowledge. I’m so grateful to have him as my doctor!

Very happy with my new choice of a PCP! While I haven’t met the doctor yet, I had the pleasure of meeting with the NP on staff and she was very thorough. She ordered all lab work that was required, gave me the referrals needed. The office staff is also extremely sweet. As a new patient I called and received an appointment the same day. I would definitely recommend them. :)

Dr. Tara Farahvash has been my primary doctor for many years. She is very understanding and knowledgeable. When I make my appointments I don’t wait very long in the waiting room. The entire office staff is pleasant. When I need a referral it’s usually done promptly. When I leave the doctor’s office I know I will get better soon. If the doctor feels I need to see a specialist she will make recommendations.

The office staff and Sophie, Dr. Farahvash’s assistant, they were all fabulous. I was greeted in a timely matter. The facility is clean. It was… I never… everything seemed very up to health standards… and keeping everyone safe. Dr. Farahvash listened and asked questions of me, and then answered my questions. And never made me feel rushed. She took her time with me and made sure I knew what she was doing it all times and then asked me appropriate questions. I would happily recommend her.

Dr. Lisi went above and beyond. It was after an accident I saw Dr. Lisi. He reviewed CAT scans and other tests with me in such way I clearly understand how fortunate there were potential future problems as well as how to recognize them if they did occur. He further showed me how to minimize scaring in the large gash in my forehead.

My son Liam who is 5 years old, was being a 5 year old and put Play-Doh in the ear. Our pediatrician could not get it out. We then went to the emergency room with the same outcome. We then were directed to see Dr. Christopher Lisi. Dr. Lisi was unbelievable. He himself and his staff were so patient and kind with my little scared boy, and his frantic very scared mother. Dr. Lisi helped immediately not only removing the Play Doh with zero pain to my son but also calming his fears.
I understand there are many competent doctors in the world but not all of them have the heart, patience and understanding that Dr. Lisi and his staff have shown us. He is a treasure, and with two little ones I am sure to have future similar problems and I will forever know to turn to Dr. Lisi for help. Clearly I would highly suggest Dr. Lisi.

My wife and I are both patients of Dr. Lisi. He has provided both of us with top notch care. He is knowledgeable, patient, and extremely caring. He leaves no stone unturned … making sure throughout the process you feel comfortable and puts anxieties at bay. Thankfully he acted very expeditiously when I was diagnosed with oral cancer… he saved me and am forever grateful to him and his wonderful staff who continue to be an important part of my ongoing treatment. My wife was having difficulty breathing – her nose walls were collapsing… Dr. Lisi believed her to be a great candidate for Latera nasal implants … inpatient very little recovery noninvasive procedure that she is thrilled with the outcome. She suffered for years and amazing how much the implants have changed her sleeping habits and overall breathing. Dr. Lisi has a gift for treating each patient as someone special and recognizing their concerns and taking the time to address them. Best doctor and team who genuinely care about you from the moment you walk through the door. Thanks Dr. Lisi and team for all you do to provide exceptional care! Best ENT!!

I’ve been very fortunate to have Dr. Nepola as my medical practitioner for over 30 years. His support along with Paula and the staff has been just what the doctor ordered no pun intended!
In my opinion, there’s no one smarter and common sensical than Dr. Nepola. He takes the time to listen to you and prescribe the right treatment for any ailment you may have. He also knows all the best specialists to send you to if needed!
I could go on and on and write a book on how much Dr. Nepola means to me! However, I’ll end it here and thank Dr. Nepola and his fine staff for always being there for me especially in the last year. You’re simply the best!

Dr. Luigi Parisi, Primary Care
Absolutely wonderful person and very professional doctor. I’ve been seeing Dr. Parisi for many years. His patience, respect, and dedication always fascinated me. Nowadays, most doctors are not exactly what we expect them to be. Oftentimes, patients see a doctor and they feel like just an “errand” for the doctors (I know that’s how I felt very often). Nonetheless, Dr. Parisi has never failed my expectations, instead he exceeds them each and every time I see him. He’s nothing but caring and kind. And he treats all of his patients like that – with the highest level of respect and care. It’s just too bad that there are not many medical doctors left like him.

Dr. Tubman has been my doctor since Dr. Osipova left the practice. I became pregnant and Dr Tubman was incredible my entire pregnancy. I absolutely love her, her bedside manner is wonderful. The only downfall is that her wait time is very lengthy and can range 1-3 hours long, but I am willing to wait because in my opinion she’s worth it. She takes the time and listens to every concern I’ve ever had. She was extremely thorough throughout my pregnancy and her staff was always accommodating. Lana, one of the ladies that works the desk, is wonderful as well, she seems to always know her stuff.
I recommend Dr. Tubman, as I’m not very comfortable with doctors on this island but I really took a liking to her and her office staff as they’re always so pleasant. Starting from the front desk all the way to the MAs to the NPs. Five star office from me! ❤️
