Dr. Kyi earned her medical degree and a master’s degree in Internal Medicine from the University of Medicine 1, Myanmar. With more than fifteen years of clinical experience across Myanmar and the United States, her career has been shaped by diverse training and a passion for academic leadership. Dr. Kyi completed her residency at Hurley Medical Center/Michigan State University, then served for four years as an academic hospitalist and Assistant Professor at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School. Following this, Dr. Kyi pursued a rheumatology fellowship at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School and subsequently joined the Richmond Health Network as a Rheumatologist. Her clinical interests focus on inflammatory arthritis and systemic autoimmune diseases. Dr. Kyi manages complex rheumatologic cases and contributes to academic medicine through teaching and research, with several published articles.
