Assistant Vice President of Network Operations and Business Development
Kristine Delgado brings 19 years of combined clinical and leadership experience in healthcare. She joined Richmond University Medical Center in 2013 as a speech-language pathologist and, in 2019, was appointed Administrative Director of Rehabilitation. She now serves as Assistant Vice President of Network Operations & Business Development.
Throughout her tenure, Kristine has been instrumental in leading and implementing high-impact, patient-centered initiatives across the health system. These include the development of the Pediatric Rehabilitation Program, the NICU Graduate Program, the Head and Neck Oncology Program, and the expansion of Neuro Rehabilitation services. She also collaborated with the medical team to implement Richmond University Medical Center’s first use of in-line speaking valves for ventilator-dependent patients and helped launch the hospital’s Newborn Hearing Screening Program. In 2018, she played a key role in establishing the Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation Program—the only program of its kind on Staten Island’s North Shore.
Kristine’s expertise spans operational leadership, program development, and clinical care for medically complex patients, with specialization in swallowing disorders and head and neck oncology. Prior to joining Richmond University Medical Center, she held clinical roles at JFK Medical Center’s Brain Trauma Unit in Edison, NJ, Saint Peter’s Medical Center in New Brunswick, NJ, and served as senior speech pathologist at Eger Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center on Staten Island.
She holds both a Master of Arts and a Bachelor of Arts in Speech Pathology from St. John’s University. In her new role, Kristine is focused on driving strategic growth, expanding access to high-quality care, and enhancing the coordination of services across the network.
