Director of Cardiology Service Line
Ginamarie Mascia is the Director of Cardiology Service line for Richmond Health Network. She was born at Richmond University Medical Center and raised on Staten Island. She started working with the network in April of 2016 as a Medical Assistant. Although Ginamarie enjoys working hands on with patients, she developed an interest in Medical Administration. With the support of leadership administration, Ginamarie was promoted to Cardiology Coordinator in 2018. She is currently working on obtaining her degree in Healthcare Administration to help further her knowledge in the field.
Ginamarie and her team are continuously involved in community outreach programs which provide free EKGs and blood pressure screening in hopes to bring awareness of heart health to the community. In the past 6 years, she has dedicated her time to expanding the network outpatient Cardiology department which includes comprehensive on-site Nuclear Medicine and mobile Cardiac sonography testing.
In 2023, Ginamarie was promoted to Director, Cardiology service line, shortly after she inherited the role of Cardiology Fellowship Program Coordinator for the RUMC site. She works closely with incoming fellows each year and helps navigate them through their experience at Richmond University. Ginamarie is very proud to be a part of Richmond Health Network while it continues to expand across the Staten Island community and work with a caring and dedicated clinical and administrative team.
