A native New Yorker practicing for over 10 years, Dr. Harrington is dual certified in Surgery and Vascular Surgery by the American Board of Surgery. Experienced in treating diseases of the veins and blood vessels, he specializes in treating a variety of acute and chronic conditions including peripheral vascular disease, venous embolism and thrombosis, venous insufficiency, and varicose veins.
Prior to joining RUMC, Dr. Harrington was affiliated with Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center, where he practiced since completing his vascular surgery fellowship in 2022. He received his bachelor’s degree from John Hopkins University and his medical degree from the Humanities and Medicine Program at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, graduating with Distinction in Research. He completed his general surgery residency at Mount Sinai West and Mount Sinai Morningside, followed by fellowship training in vascular surgery at Stony Brook University Medical Center. He is also a Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation.
In addition to performing surgeries at RUMC, Dr. Harrington will also provide outpatient services and surgical consultations as a member of RUMC’s Richmond Health Network.
