Dr. Margalit is an orthopaedic hand surgeon and Staten Island native dedicated to providing exceptional orthopaedic care to his community. He began his medical journey at the Sophie Davis School of Biomedical Education at CCNY before completing his MD at SUNY Downstate. Dr. Margalit trained in orthopaedic surgery at the Johns Hopkins Hospital and further specialized with a hand fellowship at New York University.

In addition to his clinical training, Dr. Margalit completed the Poggi Orthopaedic Research Fellowship and an NIH-funded T32 Fellowship, contributing to the field with over 60 publications, book chapters, and numerous podium presentations. Now back in his hometown of Staten Island, Dr. Margalit is thrilled to offer his expertise in hand and upper extremity care to the community.
